Santa Stuck in the Chimney

• Dress up as Santa Clause stuck in a chimney by pairing a basic cardboard box with a Santa suit. Choose a box that fits snug around your midsection just under your arms. Decorate the box to resemble a brick chimney by dipping a rectangular sponge into brick colored paint and pressing the sponge onto the surface of the box to create painted bricks. Glue cotton batting to the upper edge of the box to resemble snow collecting on the top of the chimney. If the box is loose and tends to slip down your body, attach two strips of fabric to the front and back of the box to act as suspenders.
  
  

Christmas Ham

• Dress up as a pig and tell everyone that you are the Christmas ham. This costume is even better if you act goofy and really "ham it up." Keep it simple by wearing a plastic pig nose with your regular clothing or go all out with a store-bought full body pig costume. If you would like to create your own costume, wear a pink sweatsuit with a curly pipe cleaner tail pinned to the back of your sweat pants. Attach pig ears cut from pink felt to a hat or headband. This idea works equally well with a turkey costume except you would call yourself the Christmas turkey rather than the Christmas ham.
  
  

Pink Bunny Pajamas

• Recreate the embarrassing scene from the 1983 classic movie, "A Christmas Story" by dressing as a pink bunny rabbit. In this scene, the main character, young Ralphie Parker is forced to wear the pink bunny pajamas he received as a Christmas gift. Make the costume by attaching rabbit ears cut from felt to the hood of a pink hooded sweatshirt. Wear pink sweat pants and fluffy pink bunny slippers, if you can find them. Finish the costume by wearing a pair of glasses and a dour expression. Impress fans of the movie by carrying a Red Ryder BB gun or any toy rifle.
