    Historic Brattonsville

    • Historic Brattonsville rests on a 775-acre Revolutionary War site. The land includes more than 30 historical structures ranging from the 1760s to the 19th century. The land received a National Registrar in 1971 for historical places and opened to the public in 1976. Since 1998, the site has been part of the York County museum organization. Special events occur in March, July, September, October and December every year.

    Carowinds Amusement Park

    • Only 32 minutes from Rock Hill, South Carolina is the Carowinds Amusement Park in Charlotte. The park contains 13 roller coasters, five thrill rides, a 12-acre children's area and a number of family rides. Included with the price of admission to the park is entrance to the Boomerang Bay water park. The water park includes water rides, slides and swimming fun. Also included at the theme park is Peanuts cartoon shows including "Snoopy Rocks! On Ice."
