There are times when having a narrow approach to something really works out best, but when it comes to attracting a girlfriend, sometimes you can end up going too narrow. Of course, you DO want to know what kind of woman you are looking for, because you don't want to end up dating someone who really isn't a good fit for you. However, you also don't want to end up being so narrow in your quest to find a woman to date that you end up eliminating most of your options.

Keeping your options open is going to be your best bet.

Why?

Because there is an abundance of places that a guy can go to meet women. There is an abundance of places where the right woman for you might be, so the more open you are to trying new options to meet women is going to end up proving to be one of the best things that you can do.

I've given out LOTS of advice over the last few years when it comes to dating and more importantly, meeting women. And I have heard lots of stories and experiences and one thing that is readily apparent is that guys who are more open to keeping their options open when it comes to meeting women tend to attract a girlfriend a lot easier than guys who shut themselves off to opportunities to meet members of the opposite sex.

I've had a lot of discussions with guys who want a girlfriend that start out something like this:

Them: It's so hard to meet women.

Me: Do you go to clubs or bars?

Them: No, I don't like those places.

Me: Have you tried online dating?

Them: No, I don't want to do that.

Me: Do you socialize a lot? Join groups or hang out with new people regularly?

Them: No, I don't like to do that, either.

When you deal with a situation like that, it's hard to get past the fact that they are making it harder on themselves. While you may not be a fan of going to certain places to try to meet women, you have to admit that you are not really making things easy when you eliminate all options, yet you still want to complain about how hard it is to meet women.

Just think about it like this - once you have met the right woman, you may not have to go to those places anymore. I know guys that hated going to clubs but did it until they met someone and once they had that girlfriend, they no longer had to go to clubs.
