- 1). Open the ZoneAlarm control panel. Click "Overview" and "Product Info." Confirm that your ZoneAlarm has an active subscription. The length of your subscription is listed under "Support and Update Information."
- 2). Click "Preferences."
- 3). Click "Check for Updates." If you have automatic updating turned on, a pop-up message will inform you whenever an update is available.
- 4). Click "Download Now." Save the ZoneAlarm update file in an easy-to-remember location. Double-click the file to start the update process.
- 5). Click "Next" and choose "Upgrade." Continue clicking "Next" until the update process is complete.
