How to Clean a Cavity Between Tile
- 1). Sweep or wipe off the surface of the tiles with a clean cloth to remove any debris from the surface.
- 2). Apply tile grout cleaner to an old toothbrush. Rub the toothbrush in the cavities between the tiles where the grout is. Alternatively, you can dip the toothbrush into a 50/50 mixture of bleach and water and rub the toothbrush on the grout between the tiles.
- 3). Allow the tile grout cleaner or bleach and water mixture to sit for 10 to 20 minutes to allow the cleanser to absorb the dirt.
- 4). Rub a clean, damp cloth over the tile grout. If the tile is on your floor, mop the entire surface of the floor with a clean mop and warm, soapy water. Otherwise, use a clean cloth with warm, soapy water over the surface.
