- 1). Log on to your preferred charity's website to see if it accepts donated printers. The Salvation Army, Goodwill Industries and The Special Olympics are three well-known organizations that accept non-cash donations in the state of Oklahoma (see Resources).
- 2). Contact the charity to arrange pick up the printer if it offers that service. If the charity doesn't offer donation pick-up, find the location of the donation drop-off point nearest your home or office.
- 3). Get a signed tax deduction receipt at the time of pick-up or when you drop off the printer. Check the charity's website to see if the charity has a printable form online that has to be completed and printed off by the donor in order to get the receipt.
