In this article I would like to go over some ways that you can use to get started driving highly targeted traffic to your website.
1) Use multiple campaigns to focus your adverts One of the very biggest mistakes that many Google AdWords marketers make is that they have too many adverts in one campaign.
What happens is that some of the adverts do not perform very well and it affects all the adverts in your advertising campaign.
Only use related adverts that are tightly focused together.
2) Bid small amounts on adverts One of the easiest ways to throw your money away is to start bidding a lot for general keywords and end up paying top dollar for keywords that do not convert.
Look for three to five keywords that have little or no competition and bid 10 to 15 cents for them.
3) Use negative matching for higher conversion One of the big problems that you will experience is that if you do not use negative matching then you will attract clicks from keywords that will not convert very well.
For example if you are selling an ebook on affiliate marketing and somebody clicks on affiliate marketing programs then this will not convert.
You need to use negative matching to exclude these search terms.
