What is a Good Total Body Workout For Skinny Guys?
You cannot follow the guides in bodybuilding magazines.
Do you really think doing 30 sets of bicep exercises will help you get bigger? Skinny guys have a very hard time recovering from workouts.
When you do too many sets, you can easily suffer from overtraining.
When you are overtrained, your muscles will no longer grow until you stay away from the gym for a week or two to refresh.
What is a good total body workout for skinny guys? I will show you an unconventional routine that magazines will not show you: Monday - Deadlift Wednesday - Bench Press Friday - Squat Pyramid down from very light warm-up weight to 5 rep max.
For example, 135 lb x 12 reps, 185 x 10, 225 x 7, 245 x 5.
After your last set, you do not continue to do anymore sets.
I know people like to do very light weight and high reps at the end to "build muscles".
Your muscles grow outside of the gym.
Try to increase the resistance every week.
If you cannot increase the resistance, then you might have to check with your diet and how much sleep you are getting per night.
You might have to eat more or sleep more to become stronger.
The 3 exercises above will build a lot of muscles if you are focusing on quality over quantity.
Proper lifting technique is very important if you do not want to injure yourself.
