Considerations

• Make a water trap from a 2 liter plastic bottle. Rub fruit jelly or jam on the neck of the bottle and then push it down so that it's inverted inside the bottle. Fill the bottle halfway with water and set it outside your home. When wasps go after the jelly, they get trapped inside.

• Taking away any type of food source will stop wasps from building nests around your home. You should also stop wearing perfumes and deodorants, especially those with a floral scent, and wear very light or dark colors.
