I've been going for years to the Myrtle Beach campgrounds, and I RV camped there in August 2008.
Describe your camping trip:
I love to camp and the campground is awesome except for the personnel and the added staff that no one needs. The camp director and the staff under him could be eliminated and keep the rates down so someone can enjoy the camping. There are activities for families to attend that children want to go too.
They don't want to do pool activities that cause everyone else to have to stay out of the water for them to do and when you go to lay out at the water you don't want to hear them asking you to play their games.
Pros: Camping and being on your own.
Cons: The camping activities and the over payment for the usage of stuff they can do away with. Not being able to drive golf cart freely with all the red tape and hassle.
Nearby attractions: Great location.
Further comments: I will continue to go back, but I would love to see the rates go down and less of some staff. One can go to the attractions and have a more peaceful time at their campsites, be able to bring your gocart and just kickback with the dollars being taken away.
