Intense Fat Burning Workout at Home
When I first started with bodyweight training, I stuck to basic pushups, pullups, and bodyweight squats.
However, soon my workouts became too easy and boring.
I needed a way to break out of my plateau and create some brand new intense fat burning workouts I could do at home.
One day, I started watching gymnastics on TV.
I marveled at how lean and strong these athletes were, despite never lifting weights or doing cardio.
Once I started incorporating some gymnastic moves into my program, I started dropping fat immediately.
What I learned was that the reason why their physiques are so lean and strong is because they do not train in the traditional manner of sets and reps.
What they do is perform a variety of movements which move their bodies in various directions.
You can easily get a great, 15 minute bodyweight fat burning workout in the comfort of your own home.
The idea is to combine unique bodyweight movements with high intensity techniques such as interval and circuit training.
Interval training is where you alternate between periods of high and low intensity.
For example, you can perform a quad squat for 30 seconds, followed by a 30 second period of rest.
Circuit training is where you perform 2 or more exercises back to back with little to no rest in between.
For example, a good circuit training workout would be to perform 10 quad squats, followed by 10 froggers, followed by 10 jump squats.
Rest 30 seconds and repeat the entire circuit again.
I usually do 5-6 circuits, which takes me just 10-15 minutes per day.
