    • 1). Launch Windows Paint. Click the drop-down arrow in the top-left corner and select “Properties.” Set the dimensions for the invitation, such as “4” in the “Width” box and “6” in the “Height” box. Click the “Inches” radio button. Click the “OK” button to resize the Paint canvas for the invitation.

    • 2). Select a color from the “Colors” portion of the ribbon, such as pink. Click the “A” icon on the ribbon and click the top of the invitation. Choose a font and text size.

    • 3). Type the main invitation greeting, such as “It’s Double The Fun!” or “Join Us to Celebrate Two New Lives.”

    • 4). Change to a new paint color, such as blue. Click lower on the invitation, reducing the font size. Type the names of the baby shower honorees, along with the names of those throwing the shower.

    • 5). Alternate colors of text as you type the main baby shower party details, including the location of the event, date and time, theme, whether partners, spouses or kids are invited and where the parents-to-be are registered.

    • 6). Include text on how to R.S.V.P. and any calls for contributions such as “We’re creating a diaper mountain."

    • 7). Choose a color you haven’t yet used on the ribbon. Click the “Brushes” button and choose the “Airbrush” option. Click and drag the mouse around the canvas in the white spots around the border, adding a confetti decoration.

    • 8). Click the Paint button. Click “Save As.” Type a name for the invitation and click the “Save” button.
