  Angel Fire, New Mexico, is is a small town in the Moreno Valley of Colfax County. Angel Fire is 152 miles north of Albuquerque and has a small airport. The town is home to the Angel Fire Resort ski area, which offers downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding and tubing. Summer activities include hiking and fishing. Because of the popularity of the ski resort, lodging is readily available and includes hotels, condos and cabins.

• The Retreat at Angel Fire offers 10 private and secluded cabins with either one or two bedrooms. All cabins are furnished with rustic wood furniture and queen-sized beds. Mountain View Cabins

• Mountain View Cabins has 13 cabins available from a small cabin that sleeps 2 people to a large two-story cabin that sleeps up to 14 people. All cabins have color televisions, heaters, barbecue grills and porches. There is a playground for children and a fish-cleaning station. The grounds are dotted with picnic tables. The cabins are just 15 minutes from Angel Fire and right by the marina at Eagle Nest Lake.

Angel Nest Retreat at the Lake

• Just 15 minutes north of the town of Angel Fire is Angel Nest Retreat at the Lake. This retreat is a campground with tent camping sites, RV sites, seven cabins sleeping from three to eight people and two vacation homes that sleep 10 to 20 people. Amenities include wireless high-speed internet, a clubhouse and boat storage. The retreat is open year round and is located close to both the nAngel Fire ski area and the Red River ski area.

Our House at Angel Fire

• Our House at Angel Fire is a privately owned cabin that is available for rental. The cabin has three full bedrooms including a master suite with a king-sized bed. The den has an additional sleeper sofa for extra guests. The cabin is fully furnished including all linens and kitchen utensils and dishes. Our House cabin is 3 minutes from Angel Fire ski area via the shuttle and is a 15-minute walk from the slopes.
