Chicago Triathlon - Overview:

This year marks the 27th Chicago Triathlon, which is now billed as the world's largest. The Triathlon expects 8500 participants this year, and its proceeds will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Participants can choose either the International Distance of 1.5K swim, 40K bike ride, and 10K run or the shorter Sprint Distance, which features a .75K swim, 22K bike ride, and a 5K run.

Chicago Triathlon - Other Events:

The Chicago Triathlon features several other events in conjunction with the Triathlon:
  • The Fleet Feet SuperSprint on Saturday, August 29 at Foster Beach. That will include a 375m, 10K bike, and a 2.5K run.
  • The McDonald Kids Triathlon on Saturday, August 29 at Foster Beach. It is open to children between the ages of 7 and 14 and features shorter distances.
  • The Multisport Health and Fitness Expo takes place on Friday, August 28 and Saturday, August 29 at the host hotel, the Chicago Hilton. This is where athletes pick up race packets and can get more information about the race and all things triathlon.

Chicago Triathlon - Registration and Confirmation:

Registration is capped at 8,500 participants.

It almost always fills up. Register online for the Chicago Triathlon. If you would like to confirm your entry in the race, you can do that online here.

International and Sprint distance events begin at a $155 registration fee. Other event and category fees vary.
