- 1). Check out the Dnipro Hotel. One of the most popular and by the far the most famous hotels among tourists visiting Ukraine's capital, the four-star Dnipro is home to several bars and restaurants, including the Munich and the European, which is open 24 hours.
- 2). Explore Khreschatyk, Kiev's most famous street. Home to the Dnipro Hotel, as well as many other main Kievan attractions, it is also home to popular bars such as 44 Art Club and the Chateau Brew Pub, a microbrewery.
- 3). Do your homework. Since tastes vary and Kiev has a large number of bars, you should explore Websites listed below to find a bar that strikes your fancy. Keep in mind that the most common model for a bar in Kiev is a selection of beers alongside Ukrainian and other European food offerings, though the city also boasts novelties like Voina i mir (War and Peace), which has a War of 1812 theme.

- 5). Ask locals about where they like to go. Share what kind of bar you're looking for, and Kievans -- who are likely to speak English or Russian as well as Ukrainian -- will be sure to help you explore their beautiful city.
