Proper diet is important otherwise you will have a layer of belly fat covering your abs all the time.
Eat healthy natural foods like lean meats, fruits, and vegetables for most of the time.
You can have some junk food like white carbs and sweets but only in moderation.
Between doing your cardio to get six pack abs and eating the right foods you will be well on your way.
