Overview
The MSC Divina is a large cruise ship owned by Italian cruise line MSC Cruises. The 3,500-guest ship has multiple dining venues, each of which has something different to offer.
The ship has two main dining rooms. Both have two seatings (6:30 or 9:00 pm) for dinner with assigned tables. The Villa Rossa is aft on deck 6 and features panoramic views of the sea and seating for 766 diners. The Black Crab Restaurant spans decks 6 and 7 and is located mid-ship.
This large venue seats 1,155 guests and also serves breakfast and lunch with an open seating. Both of these main restaurants specialize in Mediterranean cuisine and classic North American favorites.
Galaxy Disco Restaurant features a la carte dining in the evening and a daily brunch. This panoramic nightclub/disco/dining venue has marvelous views from its location on deck 16.
Ristorante Italia is an intimate, 30-seat venue adjacent to Eataly only open for dinner. This specialty restaurant features a different menu each night that was created by the Eataly chefs.
The Eataly Steakhouse serves modern and traditional Italian food. The Eataly on the MSC Divina is fashioned after the famed restaurant in Eataly’s Manhattan location. Those who want to take a piece of Italy home can purchase authentic Italian and artisan products, including olive oils, dried pastas, regional sweets and aged balsamics in the adjacent boutique marketplace. The a la carte menu at the Eataly features large portions of delicious foods.
I'm a big fan of beef carpaccio, and this appetizer was plenty for two to share or to eat as a main course.
Le Muse is the private dining venue for those guests staying in the exclusive MSC Divina Yacht Club. This restaurant is on deck 15 and seats 136.
Calumet and Manitou are the two buffet restaurants on the MSC Divina. They are found on deck 14 and are open non-stop for 20 hours per day! These casual eateries feature many different specialty corners, including a salad bar, sandwiches, pasta, pizza, daily hot plates, and various international dishes.

The Black Crab Restaurant
The Black Crab Restaurant is the largest dining venue on the MSC Divina. It is located mid-ship on decks 5 and 6 and serves three meals each day. Breakfast and lunch are open seating, and dinner has two fixed seatings. For those in a hurry, the restaurant has an express lunch option.
Dinner is multiple courses and served at a leisurely pace. The menus are varied, with an emphasis on Mediterranean and North American dishes.
Galaxy Lounge Restaurant
The Galaxy Lounge is a dining venue and a disco. The lounge serves both brunch and a special Mediterranean fusion cuisine from an a la carte menu in the evening. Since Galaxy is located on deck 16 of the MSC Divina, it also features great views.
Ristorante Italia
With space for only 30 each evening, Ristorante Italia is the most intimate dining venue on the MSC Divina. This upscale specialty restaurant features a different menu each evening, all created by the chefs from the adjacent Eataly Restaurant. Dining at the Ristorante Italia should be a memorable evening.
Eataly is a Turin-based Italian restaurant chain, which has a very popular outlet in Manhattan. MSC Cruises has partnered with Eataly to provide two restaurants on both the MSC Preziosa and the MSC Divina--the upscale Ristorante Italia and an Eataly regional steakhouse.
Eataly has an a la carte menu and is open in the evening. A boutique Eataly marketplace is also available for guests to purchase authentic Italian and artisan products, including olive oils, dried pastas, regional sweets and aged balsamics.
