Describe your camping trip:
My trip was excellent. See comments on this campground below.
Pros: Flat with asphalt roads.
Cons: We stayed for a month. We planned to stay for 3 months, but left the minute our paid for month was over. The owner would not give us 50 amp, only 30 amp. He said long term stays could not take up 50 amps, and yet there were campers in the 50 amps that were here as long as us, in addition, even over the busy 4th of July weekend the 50 amp sites never filled up.
When we called for reservations and said we would be here for a few months, the owner immediately said we could not live here, which we were not, just hear for a 3 month season and yet the people next to us in lot 12 had been here over a year and said they were living here. The gentleman in lot 1 had been here 2 years. Double standards in the campground. There was rust in our drinking water, and he said to run a hose to another spigot. It is not our problem to go buy a longer hose and try another spigot. The Wi-Fi barely works. It was so frustrating to try and be online here. the campground sits next to Interstate 40 and a busy road. Semis run all night as well as a train that runs along the campground during the day and night. Extremely noisy all day and all night.
