Guide Review - Nokia 6265i
The Nokia 6265i is a slide cell phone which makes it easy to make and send phone calls, send text messages and keep track of your appointments. The three top reasons I selected the Nokia 6265i for myself are:
- It was important for me to have a phone that I could keep synchronized with my laptop and not all cell phones have this capability - check the specs to see if Bluettooth or Infrared have been disabled. I can even use this phone as a modem for my laptop with the appropriate data service plan.
- There are times when size is an important consideration and I didn't want a cell phone that was too tiny nor too large. I find that the Nokia 6265i is just the right size for me (I do have small hands so your mileage may vary). I also wanted a phone that was light enough that when I am carrying it I don't feel like I've taken everything and the kitchen sink along.
- The price and service plan may actually be the first factor for some, for me it was more important to find the right phone and then see what plans were available.
- The phone is easy to use, and doesn't require a lot of fussing to get started with. One feature I particularly like is how easy it is to lock the keypad and know that there won't be unexplained calls or connections made.
Sound quality is quite good. I don't hear any tinniness or the infamous cell phone echo.
I normally need to charge the phone once a week and it holds its charge quite well. When using the Bluetooth or Infrared there is a slight increase in battery power used.
The MiniSD slot is very useful for storing information and helps keeps that data more secure since it is not stored on the phone, it's easy to transfer data that way as well.
The cell phone has been a surprisingly useful feature that I wasn't initially even interested in but it takes high quality photos and it's always available.
