Some of the best things to put in the room are replica jerseys, team pennants and insignias, and you can also paint the room in your team's colors.

You will want to get photos of players like Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Joe DiMaggio, Mickey Mantle, Thurman Munson, Reggie Jackson and Derek Jeter for your room. It will be very difficult to get game-worn jerseys from these great players (and very expensive), but you should be able to get replicas of them from sports collectible shops at a more reasonable price. You should be able to replicas of baseball bats and gloves as well. These will be great additions to your room.

Wrigley Field is appropriate for Cubs fans while Tiger fans may want to look at old Tiger Stadium or Comerica Park.

    • 4). Add some posters of some of your team's more modern day stars and put them around your room at strategic points. The juxtaposition of the newer posters with the pictures of the older players should work well. You can also display baseball or football cards from your favorite players as well. Arrange them with an array of the cards or your can frame them to make them more prominent.
