  Whether or not they believe in ghosts, there are many people that swear to have had paranormal activities in many Dallas area hotels. These haunted hotels are popular tourist attractions. If ghosts fascinate you or you are skeptic but hoping to be proved wrong, you can stay in these Texas hotels and see for yourself.
  
  

The Adolphus Hotel

• The Adolphus Hotel was built in 1912 and is 21 stories tall. Celebrities, such as U2, Donald Trump, Babe Ruth and Queen Elizabeth II, have all stayed at this hotel. According to the Texas Haunt Society website, the hotel is haunted by a bride that was left standing at the altar. She hung herself in the hotel and she has been seen walking around the hotel in her wedding dress. Things have also been seen move by themselves in the bar, including beer bottles.

Hotel Lawrence

• Hotel Lawrence has a history that dates back to 1925 and is located in downtown Dallas. The second floor of this hotel was an illegal gambling casino and is haunted by the spirit of a man. In the 1940s, a woman fell to her death and guests have heard the sound of high heels walking across the lobby floor at night. The front desk gets calls from rooms that no one has checked into and laundry carts have been reported to move by themselves. A congressman committed suicide on the tenth floor and supposedly room number 1009 gives resistance to the opposite side of the door if the staff try and open it. Female voices can be heard in the hall and some guests have felt cold spots.

Renaissance Hotel

• The Renaissance Hotel is a renovated hotel in downtown Dallas, which has 514 guest rooms and 30 suites. A man reportedly jumped from roof of this hotel and landed on the west side of the building. There are often sounds coming from the bathrooms and rooms when nothing is seen or found. A former pool attendant of the hotel says the roof is haunted.
