Facts About the Smith and Wesson Lemon Squeezer
High Tech Features
The Smith and Wesson Safety Hammerless had several unique features. To shoot the gun, the safety bar along the back of the grip had to be squeezed at the same time the trigger was pulled. The lemon squeezer had a hammerless design, and was available in .32- and .38-caliber models with several barrel lengths. A latch, where the hammer would normally be, allows the break action to unlock and fold open, where five bullets could be loaded into the cylinder. Folding the gun completely open caused the star wheel to automatically eject the spent shells.
