Experience:
Schuler Benson is a lifelong heavy music aesthete. He believes in purchasing physical copies of the music he loves, his band t-shirt collection is top-shelf, he’s an avid runner, and he doesn’t believe Kirk Windstein can write a bad riff.
Schuler’s music writing has been featured on multiple sites, and he’s also an accomplished fiction author, having appeared in numerous literary journals.
His first book was published in 2014 by Alternating Current Press. He lives by a beach in South Carolina with his fiancée and their animals.
Education:
Schuler earned his B.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Arkansas in 2014. He’s currently a candidate in the MA Writing program at Coastal Carolina University, where he teaches composition as a graduate assistant.
