Let's face it being a member of a gym is expensive and in the current climate of recession a lot of people are looking at their monthly outgoings and trying to make sacrifices.
There are some people who even pay for the gym monthly but hardly even go there.
That is simply money going down the drain.
The good news is you don't even need the gym to keep fit and I will show you how.
Some of the best exercises for your body don't even require fancy machinery or weights to help you out, most can be done in the comfort of your own home or back garden.
Its good to get your heart rate up in order to burn off fat so going for run, jog or even a brisk walk around the neighbourhood on a daily basis will work wonders.
You could even fit this in your daily routine and make a point of walking all the way to work if that's possible.
One of the best exercises for building upper body strength is the press-up.
You need to focus on having good form when doing your press ups initially and don't worry about the number that you do.
Aim for about 20 press ups in the start and eventually you will find it's easier to do more such as 50 press ups and you will notice a big change in your upper body strength.
Sit ups can easily be done in the comfort of your own living room and whilst even watching a TV show.
Find a piece of furniture which will keep your feet steady and make sure you put in good effort into every sit up that you do.
This is great for keeping your lower body toned and keeping that belly fat away.
