Events

Lakewood Playhouse is known for its quality musicals and plays, as well as the diverse range of topics it chooses for each season.

Selections can be as light and silly as “Something Happened on the Way to the Forum” or as serious as David Hare’s “Stuff Happens.” Seasons start in September and run through to June or July.

Children’s programs and camps produce a play or musical at the end of each as well. These include plays (auditioned) for kids 7 to 18, theater activities for younger children, and one-week camps during winter and spring break.

There are also several big box stores here, from Bed Bath and Beyond to Michael’s to Barnes and Noble.
