Moussaui Deserved the Death Penalty; 9-11 Hurt Our Economy

The nineteenth hijacker flunky Moussaui deserved the death penalty for causing so many people to lose their jobs, not only because so many people perished during the 911 attacks.
It was amazing how many industries were severely damaged and hurt.
Let's look at this from a sub-sector industry level or a sliver of the over all macro-US economy shall we? Lets look at the travel industry for a second and then lets take it down to a niche of that over all sector.
Lets talk about, I don't know, lets pick rent-a-car corporations as a niche of a sub-sector of what had occurred.
Once the original 9-11 hit was over many Airport Rent-A-Car companies took an additional hit in rentals because air travel remained at nearly half of its usual volume two months after 9-11 and then in the following months air travel moved back to two-thirds normal volume.
In this sub-sector many of these Rent-A-Car agencies are very competitive and this is what forced Alamo, Resorts, and National to look into Bankruptcy Protection.
National, Alamo and Resorts along with their parent company ACR all filed Chapter 13.
Still hurt were Hertz, Avis, Budget and others.
The non-airport locations were actually okay.
The used car rental markets really hurt companies like Rent-A-Wreck in over all company wide profitability.
However it turned out to help them when the economy kept sagging as people needed a car but with layoffs and downsizing could not afford to pay the normal prices at the larger brand name rental agencies.
Thus the calamity turned into a big win for Rent-A-Wreck which is now buying up all it's own stock and going back to being a private company again.
What many people have already forgotten is the number of job losses in the manufacturing sector of the Auto Industry, the travel industry and so many small businesses.
But it was simply catastrophic to so many sub-sectors and many people are oblivious to this fact.
Another reason that we need to hunt down and kill all the International Terrorists.
Consider all this in 2006.
