With the speed of growth of our technology, the results of our studies and our creation need an infrastructure for humanity, where people can build without looking over their shoulders to fear being shut down or losing their livelihood.
Currently, we have groups where we focus on one topic, and we frenzy around that topic well and get stuck in follow the leader.
What we don't have is a structure where we integrate with each other on different topics that grow leaders and get things done.
This model is the new infrastructure.
New infrastructure brings together innovators and pioneers in unique fields, countries, nationalities, in science, media, economy, energy efficiency, humanity, creativity.
It requires a more global theme to create actionable steps for current and future times, to have followers turn into leaders and to build a machine for growth.
In order for any type of birth to take place, there is hard labor required.
It is a messy and wonderful process of learning and morphing and understanding.
The new infrastructure supports the movement toward "What's In It For Us," while not losing what we gain for ourselves.
1.
Professionals Attend With Open Minds
Because of collaboration among people in different fields willing to look at new ways of building for innovation, the age-old process of attending a conference to sell one's wares must be on the back burner.
People must connect with ideas without being driven to cardiac arrest over getting their own personal mission out, as well as their business card, as soon as they see a warm body.
2.
Professionals Must Take A Chance On The New Infrastructure
New architects always meet with resistance on their way to fame, acceptance and becoming the new standard.
In this same way, the people who come out to innovate, share, teach and learn must take steps necessary to begin a new project.
In order to offer new ideas, belief must be rock solid so that instead of stressing over being booed off the stage, the actor gives her (his) all and tries again and again, learning from experience each time.
The people at a forum for innovation must be allowed to grow their idea.
Professionals must come, listen, speak and make their contribution into this cross-industry structure of integration.
Future support is part of this infrastructure which will connect participants to action and opportunity.
3.
Video
Since we are such visual creatures, using video as an interactive part of building a structure, is so important.
Modern practices in using technology and video must be at the forefront of any new build and filming for educational purposes is a must.
4.
Choosing The Right People By Keeping Your Focus
In building an infrastructure, a leader must make the pivotal decisions on whom to involve and why to go in that direction.
This comes down to keeping your focus.
Rather than worrying about pleasing the media or losing your job because you expressed a shockingly brilliant strategy that fell on critical ears, if you walk down the path of your convictions and have an infrastructure in which to do it, you have advanced a huge step along the journey.
5.
Vision To Map Out The Infrastructure Strategy In order to begin to grow a forum, a society, a company, a structure, a school, a town; you must have a vision with which to proceed.
Imagine yourself an architect who builds the structure of anything.
Since we are all the architects of, at least, our own lives, this should not be too hard.
When our foundation is strong, our building is more stable.
It is crucial to see the end result in order to begin with purpose.
The end result we see at the beginning will continually transform as its shape requires it and as we grow within it.
The New Infrastructure, focusing on leadership that builds leaders and subject matter that changes lives and mentors creative invention, accepts and becomes involved in new ideas.
Infrastructure is as old as any society of two or more.
As soon as someone takes leadership, infrastructure begins to grow or strengthen.
The leaders of tomorrow at GenWe talk about how the youth of today, with multi-cultural, multi-tasking eyes, will change the world.
Corporate Tai Chi talks about reducing stress and building productivity through enhancing human capital.
Coalition Of The Willing talks about post-Copenhagen infrastructure.
Next-Gen-Expo has begun to build an infrastructure to enhance humanity.
Every effort that builds a culture grows an infrastructure.
We see a trend to build it for "us," the world of humans, through collaboration and prosperity.
We are moving away from decaying old ways and toward earlier and more relevant education.
Many see how cooperative integration outperforms the me, me, me concept.
We are considerate of the new and are interested in choosing a path of action.
With any luck, the new model of infrastructure will continue to work because the minds of the doers accept change as an evolutionary process of moving forward.
