They have also surfing schools in the place for all locals and visitors who love to learn more about surfing in the deeper sense. One of the most established surfing schools in the area is Safari Surf School, Billabong-sponsored camp founded by Hawaii native Tyler Marsh 15 years ago. They give lessons twice daily and demonstrated by their certified instructors, the week-long packages also offer a taste of other activities in the area like zip-lining adventure, kayaking, horseback riding, yoga sessions, surfing and many more. The Safari Surf School headquarters has an open kitchen, terrace and pool, plus hundreds of surfboards wherein guests can gather around and enjoy some surfing lessons and enjoying meals (most packages include communal dining, at both the camp and local restaurants) as part of their adventure time. Beginners start out on the beach, with a surfboard shape etched into the sand, and learn how to go from a prone, paddling position to a standing, surfing one. There are surfers who will guide you on the surfing lesson all the way through. Practicing the steps on dry land is one thing. Trying to remember them while out in choppy water is another. By the fifth lesson, you'll have graduated from white water and be taking on some actual waves. And after that, you are ready to do your own surfing extravaganza.

Next year, 2015, the Safari Surf School will have their new headquarters next door that will focus to set in a brand new development about surfing that it will be called Olas Verdes. Now there's an even better reason to go back for another year of surfing. Families, friends and loved ones are welcome to join and witness another great surfing memory for all.
