Long Distance Relationships: The Distance Is Not Irrelevant
Here are 3 that I can think of that will most likely become an issue:
1. You'll grow tired of not being able to see one another as much as you'd like to.
It can be easy to imagine at first that it will be fun to call one another and use the internet as a way to keep in constant communication with each other. At some point, though, you are going to want to spend time with the guy you are dating. You are going to want him to come over to watch a movie with you or you are going to want him to be around when you have a work party. Eventually, it is almost inevitable that you are going to grow tired of not being able to spend time with your man and that will be an issue that you are going to have to deal with.
2. It's a lot easier to become suspicious of someone when they are far away.
This is another issue that frequently comes up when a woman tries to carry on a long distance relationship with a man she likes. While you might not normally be the suspicious type, it is easier to become that way when they are far away from you and you are not really sure what it is that they are up to. Sure, you can tell yourself that you should trust him, but are you really going to be able to do that if he doesn't call when he is supposed to and you know that he could be up to anything and you wouldn't really know about it?
3. If the cost of traveling to see one another ever gets prohibitive, you might end up hardly ever seeing him.
Gas prices rise, the cost of a plane ticket goes up... you might find at some point that the cost of traveling to see one another just becomes too much. If that happens and you are not able to really go to one another, would you be happy in a situation like that? That is something else that you are going to have to deal with if you are carrying on a long distance relationship with a man that shows that the distance really is not irrelevant, it does matter.
