    • Carnival Cruise Lines operated a variety of cruises that sail from various ports and travel to a multitude of destinations. One shorter length option offered is the Two Day Bahamas cruise that sails out of Fort Lauderdale. The ship is the Carnival Miracle, and room choices include interior rooms, ocean view rooms, balcony rooms and suites. The cruise departs 5 p.m. on a Friday, sails throughout the night and arrives in Nassau, Bahamas at 7 a.m. Saturday morning. Guests have all day to spend off of the ship touring Nassau until the boat departs at 5 p.m. The ship cruises back to Fort Lauderdale Saturday night and arrives on Sunday morning at 8 a.m. Pricing for the cruise includes all meals, on board entertainment, non-alcoholic drinks and use of the ships facilities. Additional shore and land excursions are available for purchase.

    Celebration Cruise Line

    • Celebration Cruise Line offers a two night cruise that sets sail out of the Port of Palm Beach, Florida. The ship leaves at 5:45 p.m. and sails every other day of the week, accommodating a variety of travelers. Guests are allowed to board the ship prior to departure, as early as noon, and start using the included services and amenities of the cruise line. Cruise pricing includes all activities, facility use, meals and drinks. Day two of the cruise starts when the ship arrives at Grand Bahama Island at 8 a.m. Guests have the entire day to explore the Bahamas before the ship departs for Florida in the evening. Guests spend a total of two nights on the ship and one full day in the Bahamas.

    Discovery Cruise Line

    • Discovery Cruise Line operates a different version of an overnight cruise out of Florida. The cruise portion is part of the total package, though guests do not sleep on the ship. Pricing is based on the hotel selected and can range from standard hotels to all inclusive resorts. The ship departs Port Everglades, located in Fort Lauderdale, every day of the week except for Wednesdays. The ship leaves at 9:30 a.m. and arrives in Freeport, Grand Bahama Island at 1:30 p.m. Guests then make their way to the hotel they selected, spend the evening there and return to the ship by 5:15 p.m. to set sail for Florida. Arrival back in Fort Lauderdale is at 10:30 pm.
