- 1). Browse through the Scholarships.com website. This website lists a number of scholarships available for minorities such as African, Hispanic, Asian and Native American. College Scholarships.org also offers assistance in this area (see Resources below).
- 2). Peruse the Black Alliance for Educational Options (BAEO) website. The BAEO offers privately funded programs that outreach to cities and states, and even offers scholarships so students attend their local school. The requirements for private scholarship schooling are usually families with free or reduced lunches, and who live in the area of the private school (see Resources below).
- 3). Research the "Hispanic Scholarship Fund." This organization has funded the most scholarships to Hispanics. Your requirements include attending an undergraduate college or university in the United States, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands or Guam and enrolling with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You must also maintain a grade point average of 3.0 and be a U.S. Citizen (see Resources below).
- 4). Find career-specific scholarships for minorities that include the available opportunities through Actuarial Scholarships for Minority Students, scholarships for minority students in accounting, mental health, technology and science and healthcare (see Resources below).
