    • 1). Locate the programming console on back side of the motor unit. Simultaneously press and hold the console's "Open Set" and "Close Set" buttons until the green indicator light blinks, indicating the cancellation of the previously set travel limits.

    • 2). Hold the "Close" travel limit button until the chain or belt connector slides into contact with the carriage assembly. Press the "Close" travel limit button again and hold it until the garage door is completely closed; the door is completely closed when the bottom is pressed firmly against the ground. Press the "Close Set" button when the garage door is in the desired position. This resets the door's close travel limit, which is how the garage door opener knows when the garage door is in the fully closed position

    • 3). Hold down the "Open" travel limit button until the door is completely open; tap the button repeatedly if the door stops before it reaches the fully open position. Press the "Open Set" button when the garage door is in the desired position. This resets the open travel limit to let your garage door opener know when the door is in the fully open position.

    • 4). Twist the "Close Force" control to the left to decrease the garage door opener's downward force. Twist the control to the right to increase the downward force used to close your garage door. Keep adjusting the control until the desired amount of downward force is used.

    • 5). Twist the "Open Force" control to the left to decrease the amount of upward force used. Increase the upward force used to open your garage door by twisting the control to the right. Continue to adjust the "Open Force" control until the door uses the desired amount upward force.
