    Pre-Season Kick-A-Thon

    • Begin the soccer season with a Kick-A-Thon. This will be a simple fundraiser held at school and requires a couple of weeks of promotion prior to the event. Use the school soccer field to host a Kick-A-Thon where teachers, parents, principals and other school administration can pay or be paid to score a goal. Individuals can pay an amount between $1 and $5 to try to score a goal. Additionally, money can be collected to pay for certain individuals, including teachers and school staff to try to score a goal. This is a fun event and requires several soccer players to rotate the position of goalie throughout the event. To employ the help and services of parents and friends, ask for baked goods, drinks or other snacks to be donated to sell during the Kick-A Thon.

    Meal Ticket Fundraiser

    • Port-A-Pit is a popular meal fundraising event that consists of paying for pit cooked BBQ pork or BBQ chicken and sides, such as slaw, baked beans, bread and dessert. Team members, parents and volunteers will sell tickets for meal plates and on the day of the event, will be required to fill plates as they are picked up by hungry participators. If meal tickets are desired for something other than BBQ, a popular local restaurant can be contacted for arrangements to help with a meal ticket fundraiser.

    Player-Sponsor Campaign

    • This fundraiser enlists donors to agree to sponsor individual team players for the year. This is great in the respect that it places a certain level of responsibility on each player. Once sponsors are obtained, each player realizes their participation and conduct represent not only themselves, family and team, but their sponsor as well. It should be made clear that sponsorships only include funding for transportation, hotel, uniforms, among other items. Meals, injury resulting from play, and any other out of the ordinary expenses are not covered by donations from sponsors.

    Team Soccer Camp

    • With the assistance of coaches, the soccer team can host a soccer camp for younger ages. Participation fees can be a set amount or a daily attendance fee of $20 per attendee. Players can be in charge of centers specializing in various techniques, skills and player positions. Get a local grocer to donate items for a cookout for the final day of soccer camp.
