The smaller Branches cabin offers a sun umbrella, VCR, full kitchen, patio, grill and sofa sleeper. Cabin facilities include a childrens' playground, hiking areas, lakes and ponds. Cross Creek Cabins are a short trip from attractions such as Tweetsie Railroad, Blowing Rock, Biltmore Estates and Brown Mountain Lights. The cabins are nonsmoking and pets are not permitted.

A cabin is available to rent by the night or on a weekly basis, with amenities such as a full kitchen, wraparound porch, Jacuzzi and fireplace. Internet access is not available. The cabin has two bedrooms and sleeps four people; smoking and pets are not permitted. Guests receive a free, hot, home-cooked breakfast each morning. Also on site is the Parkview Lodge's beer and wine shop. Hiking fans can explore the Linville Gorge Wilderness Area, including Pisgah National Forest, with 10,000 acres of trails and fly fishing. A special Sugar Plum Farm Christmas Tree Package is available during the holidays.

Sports enthusiasts may enjoy close proximity to fishing, hiking, rafting and skiing. Travelers have a choice of three cabins. The Sunalee is a 200-year old log cabin with modern amenities such as a washer/dryer, fireplace, dishwasher, satellite TV, charcoal grill and full kitchen. The cabin sleeps eight people. The Conner sleeps up to six people and offers a private deck with a view of Humpback Mountain, Jacuzzi, fireplace and porch, plus a full kitchen. Smaller groups or couples may be interested in the Fiddlesticks Cabin, with room for up to four people, plus a covered porch with mountain view, full kitchen and grill. The cabins are not equipped for Internet access. Pets are permitted in the cabins with an additional nightly fee. Humpback Hollow is a five-minute drive from sightseeing at Linville Gorge, Deepest Eastern Canyon and Linville Caverns.
