The park is also home to 93 acres of picnic areas, volleyball courts, playgrounds and an 18-hole disc golf course. Freeman Lake Park is open from 7 a.m. to dusk every day. Throughout the year, the park serves as a venue for various events, such as the Kentucky Heartland Festival in August, the Fourth of July Celebration and Christmas in the Park.

touretown.com - The Schmidt Museum of Coca-Cola Memorabilia is an 8,000 square foot facility that features various Coca-Cola artifacts. Visitors can check out antique Coca-Cola delivery vehicles, bottling works, vending machines, toys, bottle displays, a Santa exhibit and a complete collection of classic Coca-Cola serving trays. There is also a museum store on-site. The museum is open year round, Monday through Saturday. Admission ranges from $2 to $5.

It currently hosts small productions such as music, dance, drama and comedy performances. The theater is also home to the First Federal Gallery, a 3,700 square foot gallery that hosts various art displays, weddings and special events.
