My Baby Boy is Now in Heaven
I have a classmate and friend in high school who told me she lost her first baby because of tubal pregnancy.
It is really a heartening story that made me cry.
What is more grieving than this? The baby she nourished in her body for a few months didn't even see her pain and joy as an expectant mother.
Maybe, just maybe, her baby boy is now in heaven looking down at her whenever she looks up.
Her family and husband were very excited when they have known that she is pregnant.
They busied themselves into preparing for the arrival of the baby.
Until they went to the doctor and get shocked of the condition of the developing baby.
The baby cannot get proper nutrition from her mother.
What's worse, the mother get to bear the unbearable pain because the baby is growing in her left fallopian tube which cannot take the growing mass of the fetus.
It is maddening and grieving at the same time.
Her family can't let her continue with the pain and they decided to put out the dying baby.
She lost her first baby.
She grieved for months.
I can only console her with hugs and share her tears.
What new things can make up for your own flesh and blood? There is nothing.
Then comes the time she needs to let go and move on with life.
She believed once again that there's more to life than drown herself with sobs and tears.
She moved on.
Now her husband strives hard to inform himself about babies to her delight.
They are planning to have another baby and do it with utmost care with tips from doctors.
She doesn't want any other baby of her to be looking down from heaven.
She wants her babies to be beside her looking at the great heavens.
