You are in the trenches, trying out new things, and you have the current information about what works online - why? - because you are currently active in your area of expertise.
So stop thinking that you will just write your ebook when you have it all figured out.
Write it now while it is fresh on your mind and you are in touch with the things that are going on online.
There is simply a huge market for online marketing ebooks that share first hand, current information with other internet marketers.
