Maternity Halloween Costumes have advanced very quickly. Just because you briefly have got a different outline shouldn't suggest you must conceal it.

At last, Halloween Costumes for pregnant women are becoming freely available. It was not that long ago that you had to wear something that looked more like circus big top if an expectant mom wanted to have a Halloween costume

Here's the good news. You can now get fun, attractive, sexy Halloween costumes designed specially for moms to be.

1/ Maternity Halloween Costumes that show off your "bump"

In my opinion, there is not many better things to celebrate than a pregnancy. In the past, the attitude seemed to be that a pregnant belly should be locked away from sight ( a bit like the mad uncle who was kept in the attic away from vistors!). It was OK to toast the pregnancy itself but not to be seen in public. Thankfully these attitudes seem to be a thing of the past in most places. Halloween has been at the forefront of this welcome shift in attitudes.

This change in thinking has led to some outstanding costume designs. Suddenly, it's trendy and sexy to be pregnant. There is now a host of sexy pregnant Halloween costumes available. You can get proper maternity costumes such as sexy pirate queen, naughty nurse, Angel, Fairy and of course, the wickedly naughty sexy witch.

What about a "label" costume? These are sort of billboards (like the old "sandwich man" walking adverts of years ago) which have a big sign proclaiming... "Knocked Up". Can you imagine wearing that a few years ago?

If you are determined to make a feature of your pregnancy bump, why not try the "bun in the oven" costume. This is quite literally an oven shape suit. You get a real opening oven door and yes, you've spotted it... a bun inside. Both brilliant and inventive.

2/ Maternity Halloween Costumes which cover up your tummy.

If showing everything off is not for you, then there are plenty of other costumes that subletly cover your tummy.

It's up to you. It is important is that you feel at ease with your outfit. If you can't really feel right, you simply won't look and feel right as your unease will show straightaway. The good thing is that you will find halloween costumes that you'll feel good in.

You'll find beautiful feminine styles for example Pirate Queen maternity costume. Loose flowing layers mould your shape into nice "feminine" curves. There are numerous classical and historical costumes such as Ancient greek Goddesses, Roman Empresses, Miss Liberty (just like the Statue Of Liberty) or Juliets (Shakespeare's'). You can select a film or cartoon character such as the Wicked Witch in Sleeping Beauty or a fun character like a Mother Superior. You may even fancy a solid outfit like a Peeps marshmallow (just make sure you've got somebody that will help you get it on prior to the party).

The only down side is that you don't have any justification for not looking great as well as having a great time wearing these super maternity Halloween Costumes but I'm sure you are able to live with that.
