    • 1). Preheat a convection oven to 275 degrees F. Take the liners out of the boots.

    • 2). Cover a flat baking pan with foil. Place the liners on the foil, and put the tray in the oven.

    • 3). Allow the liners to soften in the oven for about 10 minutes. Heating times will vary depending on the manufacturer's instructions. Adjust the heating time based on your product manual. Typically, the liners are ready for molding when they appear fully swollen.

    • 4). Remove the liners from the oven. With socks on, immediately insert both feet into the liners and stretch the toe box. Stand up and gently pull up on the liner cuffs to make sure each foot is completely in its liner.

    • 5). Insert feet into the boot shells. Compress the liners around the cuff of the boot shells so that the liners do not extend more than an inch above the boot shells. Buckle the boot and allow the liner to mold and take shape. This will make it smaller and more tightly fitted to your foot. The heated liner will conform to your foot's specific shape.

    • 6). Stand upright for 10 minutes, and then take off the boots. Remove the liners. Inspect the shape and fit of the liners. Make sure the surface is smooth and free of wrinkles or folds. Repeat the molding process if the liners are not snug enough or if folds and wrinkles are present.
