Get Your PLR Websites Online Or Bust...
I know you can do it because a serious attention deficit disorder case like me did it. I watched my 13yr old son do it. Even my "can't do anything" hyper negative friend has done it now. So there is no excuse. YOU CAN DO IT!!!
So how much is there to do in order to get one of these sites set up in your own name and functioning as it should? There are several steps involved but all are very easy when considered individually. There are four basic requirements you will need in order to get the site to operate correctly.
1. A URL (Universal Resource Location) commonly known as a domain name. There are many sources online where you can purchase your own domain name, the biggest difficulty here is actually thinking up a unique name that has not already been used and is available with a.COM extension. I use name.com and namecheap.com but there are many others (just search on Google for "domain name registration". It is usually under $10 a year to register your chosen name.
2. A Hosting Account. This enables you to store your site in a location accessible to everybody with internet access. Again there are countless numbers of webhosting providers and you shouldn't need to pay more than about $8/month to get a sizable amount of hosting space. Usually they quote 2 figures for hosting and bandwidth. Hosting is the amount of server space you have available to store your websites and bandwidth is the collective size of all the page and file downloads that all your site visitors are allowed to download per month. These days you get so much for your money that it is highly unlikely you would exceed your limit and even if this were to happen just a few dollars extra will cover the shortfall.
3. An Autoresponder account. This enables you to collect and store Names and emails of customers or prospects with the additional ability to bulk email all members on your list with offers and info. The 2 most popular of these are aweber.com and getresponse.com but again there are a whole host of other supplyers of this service with varying functionality and price. This in my opinion is the most difficult of the 4 basic services to set up. That is only because in order to have an effective autoresponder sequence you need to have at least 7 follow up emails written to follow up on prospective purchasers. So all of these have to be composed and written so that they follow each other logically and placed correctly into the autoresponder.
4. An online merchant account so that you can safely and securely take payment from your customers for the goods or services you are providing. Most people start out with Paypal and then migrate to other merchant services as they grow. If you want to have a crowd of affiliate marketers selling your product also you might like to use clickbank.com or paydotcom.com. These will look after your affiliates payments as well as take the money securely from your customers.
I will tell you about how to combine all of these in my next article.
