Review of Honest Riches or can Holly help you make money online?
"Honest Riches," which in the past was called "No thank you, Rich Jerk!" is an ebook about making money online. It covers pretty much what the Rich Jerk does, except things that are considered less than ethical and might jeopardize your business, it is much less expensive than his, and has been written with the newbies in mind which cannot be said about the Rich Jerk's material.
Holly Mann, the author of this book, is a young successful web entrepreneur, a US army veteran and a single mother. Needless to say, she does not treat her readers in the same condescending manner as the Rich Jerk. I noticed that she just raised the price of her book from ca $20 to $27. I still believe that it is a good deal, particularly if you compare this new price to the price of Rich Jerk's ebook. (It looks like the extra 20 bucks that he charges for his stuff is for the privilege of being insulted by him. Not necessarily the best way to enhance your self-esteem if you ask me, but perhaps it works for some.)
Holly's ebook now comes with a website that is designed for you for free, although you do pay for hosting it. This partially justifies the price hike. If you are interested in blogging, then I recommend this solution as it gives you access to all features of a very powerful blogging software called Wordpress. Otherwise, you can get a much less expensive hosting from GoDaddy.com which I use for my site, but you need to be more Web programming savvy too. You also get access to her forum that seems to be picking up momentum.
So what is her ebook really about? Well, in the holiday spirit (I am writing this a week before the Christmas of 2006), I decided to give you an outline of the book chapters, which you will not find even on Holly's website! Here it is:

Let me assure you that it is, which does not mean that even more seasoned Internet marketers will not be able to find some nuggets in this book, but simply that it is aimed at beginners and they will benefit from it most. Overall, I highly recommend her book as an excellent primer on Internet marketing.
