Information on the Magellan Mojave Tent
- The Magellan Mojave tent carries a six month limited repair warranty that covers defects in workmanship and materials. Examples of defects may include broken zippers or stitching becoming undone during regular use. However, the warranty does not cover extreme weather conditions, mildew or damage due to UV exposure.
- You'll need at least two people to assemble the tent prior to an outing. The setup steps include laying out the tent, assembling the frame poles, joining together the roof poles and connecting the poles to the tent body.
- The Mojave is 18 feet x 12 feet and features multiple mesh pockets and organizers scattered throughout the tent as well as two siderooms that can act as storage compartments or sleeping area for children. The tent does not come with a vestibule, but it does have a "front porch" area made of coated nylon.
- The Magellan Mojave tent is no longer carried by online retailers or produced by the manufacturer, however, the tent may be found on auction sites and on sites that sell used outdoor gear. The Magellan Mojave originally retailed for $170, although as of 2010, a shopper can expect to pay anywhere from $60 to $120 for a used tent.
