Ideas On How To Get Pregnant

It really doesn't seem fair: you see so many couples who decide to stop using contraception and immediately announce they are expecting a baby and yet other couples try and try to conceive for years with no luck.
These unfortunate couples will turn to schedules, tests, kits and manuals to aid them.
Here are some ideas on how you can get pregnant if that is what you are trying to do.
A basic biology lesson is a good place to start.
Simply, the best time to get pregnant is during ovulation.
It is during this part of the menstrual cycle that ovarian cells break apart and release an egg, or ovum.
The ovum makes its way down the fallopian tube and into the uterus.
Now, enter the sperm cells.
If the ovum is reached by a sperm cell, it will hopefully get fertilized and become attached to the wall of the uterus.
Any woman hoping to conceive would do well by determining where in her cycle she is ovulating.
Chances of pregnancy are best during this time.
The female body will give off some signs that ovulation is taking place.
One such signal is a cervical mucus or fluid.
As estrogen levels rise, this fluid is released.
It is slippery and resembles egg whites.
Its purpose is to aid the sperm cells in their journey through the fallopian tubes.
Pregnancy chances increase as this fluid becomes more prevalent and gets clearer in color.
An ovulation kit is another option.
Such kits are used to determine the levels of LH, or luteinizing hormone in your body.
LH is what riggers the release of the ovum and can be detected in your urine.
These kits will give you a 24 hour advance notice of increasing LH levels.
Basal body temperature is another good gauge.
Basal temperature represents the lowest body temperature while at rest.
It is common for a woman's temperature to rise about 1.
5 degrees Fahrenheit during her cycle.
A basal thermometer should be used immediately upon waking in the morning.
Most doctors will tell you that 2-3 days prior to the high point of this temperature is the best time to get pregnant.
This does you no good for that particular month but it is helpful to keep track of your temperatures over several months to conclude the best days for sex.
Naturally there is another method that does not require any apparatus and costs nothing: have more frequent sex.
This sounds obvious and it is! The more chances you give yourself, the more likely you are to have success.
Most experts will recommend that couples trying to conceive have sex every other day.
It is also very important to keep optimistic about the whole thing.
Assuming that there are no physical causes for the failure to conceive, the numbers are on side.
The majority of couples who decide to try to get pregnant will find it happens within a year's time.
And you can't say that you didn't have fun trying.
