Work hot pink into your wedding theme with fabrics like velvet and tulle. If your wedding features guest tables with white tablecloths, pink velvet runners will pop against the white and add visual interest to the entire table. You can also feature velvet swags on reception tables and decorative velvet ties on guest chairs. Even your wedding dress can sport a single hot pink velvet sash, and your bridesmaids can wear sashes in a similar shade to complement your dress.

For a lighter effect, hot pink tulle or netting lends romantic appeal to wedding decor and costs less. Use tulle to create an overlay for tablecloths on guests tables or as a ceiling star-burst display in varying shades of hot pink. For a bold fashion statement, wear a hot pink veil against an all-white dress, or wear a hot pink dress made of layered tulle from the waist down, but keep the bodice simple and just let the color do all the talking.

    Seasonal Pink Flowers

No matter what time of year you're getting married, there's a hot pink flower for every season. In the fall, pansies come in a variety of colors, including hot pink, and you can also use mums in shades of bright pink as centerpiece flowers or boutonnieres. For a winter wedding, incorporate lilies in deep shades of magenta or hot pink with baby's breath and fern leaves. There's also the classic look of roses, and if you opt for hot pink, they'll look anything but typical and you can encourage guests to take them home as favors.

Tulips in solid shades of pink or variegated versions mixed with with lighter colors are perfect for a spring wedding and you can use potted tulips for guests to take home after the wedding reception.

Summer weddings offer the widest variety of flowers including Iris, azaleas and gladiolas, all of which come in varying shades of hot-pink. For a tropical theme, you can use hibiscus flowers and lay them in large bowls of water where they'll float for hours through the reception.

    Confections

There's no rule that says your wedding cake must be white. While a solid hot pink cake may appear garish, you can opt for a more subtle version with a pastel pink cake adorned with small hot pink rosettes. For a bride and groom combination cake, you may want to feature a chocolate cake with several strategically placed hot pink stripes.

Petit fours are also an excellent way to make the most of hot pink on a small surface. Have petit fours decorated with tiny rosettes or a hot pink and white checked pattern for a more modern look.

For a sparkling effect, you can have your buffet tables sprinkled with crystallized edible flowers in shades of pink. Additionally, you may also serve crystallized flowers as a side confection on silver trays, and don't be surprised if guests prefer to take them home as favors.

    Transportation

If you're wild about hot pink, take your wedding ride in a vintage car or limousine that really turns heads. You can rent a hot pink stretch limousine or a vintage car such as a 1950s Cadillac convertible from companies that specialize in wedding events.

For a cute but classic ride, rent a pink Volkswagen Beetle, and on the back, attach tin cans and a "Just married" sign written in bright pink letters outlined with pink sparkles.

No matter what type of car you rent, give your wedding day the ultimate sendoff with a giant bouquet of hot pink helium balloons released outside for floating up to the sky as you depart for your honeymoon.
