Fitzgerald's Bed and Breakfast is a charming sixteen-room, Tudor-style mansion, located about 30 minutes east of downtown Cleveland in historic Painesville, Ohio. It's a warm and welcoming hostelry, near Lake Erie beaches and wineries as well as attractions, such as Lake Farm Park and the James A. Garfield Historic Site. It's also a good base for exploring the nearby covered bridge country of Ashtabula County.


The Inn:

Fitzgerald's Irish Bed and Breakfast has five guest rooms, four with private baths and two with a shared bath. All rooms in the 1937 French Tudor inn are individual decorated with period antiques. The inn also features a TV/game room, a large lobby lounge with an 11-foot wood burning fireplace, and a breakfast room.

Amenities:

All room at Fitzgerald's feature air conditioning, wireless Internet access, satellite TV, and an iron and ironing board. Several rooms also include a large Jacuzzi tub, a DVD player, and a microwave. Room rates vary from $95 to $150 per room per night.

The inn also features several packages, including such amenities as in-room massages, chocolates and Champagne, and romantic in-room flowers.

Breakfast:

Breakfast at the inn is served in the downstairs breakfast room. A continental breakfast of coffee or tea, juice, and freshly baked homemade pastry is served during the week.

A hearty Irish breakfast with such signature dishes as Ham and Egg breakfast bundles is served on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

The innkeeper's specialty scones are served with most meals.
