"A Storm Named Mercy" (A Love that Will Sweep You Off Your Feet)
It will not be one that wins the intellect of men to a belief system of religion.
This will be a revival that wins the hearts of sinners to a living God whose mercy is revealed in His manifested presence.
The Lord is restoring the revelation of His gospel of grace to every believer, and we will be the hands, the feet, and the voice of the Lord (His body), that brings this tangible message to His harvest.
Let the tidal wave of His love be poured out upon these last generations of natural history, and let the fires of love unite His finished and perfected Bride.
We all know what happens when people on the coastline are warned about a hurricane and they pay no attention to the warning.
A very calculated storm comes and consumes them mercilessly.
The storm of God's glory is not calculated by men, so we have only the Holy Spirit as our barometer.
Thank God for that.
Fortunately for us, the Lord is coming with a storm named Mercy rather than Ivan the Terrible.
Yet this isthe great and terrible day of the Lord, is it not? (see Joel 2:11).
We want to be prepared like giant eagles that are mounted up and ready for the winds, like Gideon eagles that lap the water with one talon, gird their wings for the high places, and keep their eagle eyes fixed on the lightnings of God The Dream: The Lord sent a dream to me where I was standing on the shore of the ocean.
The ocean was eerily empty, but then a colossal wave presented itself just a few miles out.
This wave was about three hundred feet tall.
I had no fear at all as this wave approached.
I dove straight into it, and it carried me along without any struggle right up to the top.
I didn't have to do anything; I didn't even have to swim.
I just rode upon this wave as if protected in its bosom.
As I was floating along on the top of the wave, I was very aware that this represented the wave of the Holy Spirit flooding the earth.
It was a thing of beauty! But all of a sudden, it also became alarmingly clear to me that everything below me and under the water was dead.
Then the Lord brought me to this Scripture: For in seven days I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights, and every living substance and thing that I have made I will destroy, blot out, and wipe away from the face of the earth (Gen.
7:4).
I thought that was rather peculiar, wondering, "Why would the Lord bring me to that Scripture?" Then the Lord gave me revelation: "The seven days represent the seven millennial days of human history.
The world has just entered the dawn of that seventh day, the end of the age.
As I sent the natural rain in the days of Noah, so shall I send the rain of the Spirit in the seventh day at the end of the age.
Those who belong to My Kingdom are not of this world but are citizens of Heaven.
All who are called by My name, but are yet to enter in, will indeed enter in during these days.
Even as the floodwaters purged from the depths, so shall rivers of living waters burst forth with revival through My people.
I will send my River of delights when worshipers gather in spirit and in truth.
I will release a sound from Heaven through My people, and they will be holy gates in the public meeting place, and all who are called by My name will receive salvation through My Son, Jesus.
However, those who will not come to the beckoning call of the Holy Spirit will be crushed, for the worship of the Lord is a snare to His enemies.
My Word says, "And whoever falls on this Stone will be broken to pieces, but he on whom It falls will be crushed to powder [and It will winnow him, scattering him like dust]" (Matt.
21:44).
However, the worship of the Lord will be asa chariot for those who are to inherit eternal life.
Selah.
" A flood of glory is coming, and those who bear the ark of the Lord and worship Him in spirit and in truth will float freely upon the waters of life.
Noah's ark is like a type of the last days Church riding upon the floodwaters of the Holy Spirit.
Those who bear the ark of the Lord in these times are His worshipers (His holy gates), through whom the King of Glory will come in (see Ps.
24:7) and through whom the crowds of pilgrims from all nations shall enter (see Ps.
87:2).
In these times, the times of the restoration of all things, the saving knowledge of Christ will be made known all over the world through the restoration of true spiritual and prophetic worship, as the Lord perfects the praises of His people.
He will shape, form, and make perfect the story of His wonderful cross.
In answer to the religious leaders of His day, who were critical of the ways that the children were praising God, Jesus said "Yea; have ye never read, 'out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise" (Matt.
21:16b KJV).
When the Lord said, "Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings, thou hast perfected praise," He spoke of the simple-minded, or childlike in faith.
Through this childlike, yielded Bride, He shall perfect praise.
The word praise in this Scripture literally means "story;" the story of the Lord made perfect within the context of song and high exaltation.
Thus, praise and worship will operate in the days ahead with a greater increase of the Spirit of prophecy, and will be given keen articulation as the song of the Lord comes forth.
The kind of worship that we are going to experience as we press further and further into the move of God, which is already upon us, and ever increasing, requires a much greater revelation of Jesus.
We can only worship the Lord according to the currant revelation we embrace.
The watermark of our worship is defined by our revelation of Jesus.
He intends for us to enter into realms of worship that are much higher and deeper.
We will taste and see how beloved we are to Him.
Brace yourself for visitations that will develop a foundation for true fervency fueled by the joy of the Lord.
The joy of His salvation and the joy of His very person will be our strength (see Neh.
8:10).
Brace yourself for a Storm Named Mercy that will leave you breathless.
A wave of the frightful mercy of God is coming and the world will not know what landed on shore.
Those who are prepared to ride this glorious wave of the Holy Spirit will lack nothing that they need for the days ahead.
They will lack nothing because they will have a greater revelation of Jesus than they have ever had before.
They will know what Paul meant when he said, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (see Phil.
4:13).
