Actually there are two things NEVER to put on your home page.
The home page of your martial arts school business marketing website is simply there to do two things and two things only...
1- get the visitor to keep on going to get more info on the program they want - Adults - kids, etc.
And 2- Make a "soft" offer.
Soft offers gather contact info from the prospect in exchange for valuable information about martial arts.
One thing never to put on your home page is a name, email and phone number box (known as a webform) that simply mentions your super-wiz-bang trial program.
Why? Because they just got there! 90% of them are not ready for to commit to something even if it is just an intro lesson.
That'd be like walking up to a nice lady if you were single and right away asking her for a first date.
Maybe you'd get lucky once in a while.
But you'd have many more dates if you first strike up a conversation.
The second thing Never to put on your martial arts website home page is something that says...
"Get our newsletter and updates.
" Here's a news flash...
No one wants your newsletter and updates.
Don't get me wrong when you do email right they will like it.
But off the bat they don't want your newsletter.
Yes-- some people will say...
"But - I get people registering for it a couple of times a week.
" to that I say...
"Wow, just imagine if you did this correctly and actually replaced the newsletter and trial lesson thing with what is actually proven to get more prospective students into the funnel?" You might be busier than Bill "Superfoot" Wallace's left leg.
Because here's what happens - When you have these two "never do's" on your home page most of your prospects get distracted and click off because they don't want your newsletter and are not ready to try you.
So they go to your competitor's site.
So be sure you not doing these things on your martial arts business home page.
