The Variable Clues

• When Daniel is a boy, his mother comes in looking upset and tells him he can't play piano anymore because he doesn't have time with all the work he needs to do. I think it was at this point that she knew that she had shot her own son.
• Daniel seemed like a normal child, though incredibly smart, then things went downhill when he began to experiment on himself. The longer he was on the island, the better he seemed to get. Both Eloise and Charles told him the island might make him better, and I think it did.

• Eloise is a big believer in destiny. She told Daniel about destiny and later she told Jack.
• When Sawyer tells them to pack to leave, Hurley takes the guitar case. There is something significant about that case.

• How did Eloise and Charles know that Desmond was in the hospital?
• How did Daniel know when Pierre would be arriving at the Orchid? If it was in his notebook, how did that information get in his notebook?
• If Eloise's last name is Hawking and Charles' is Widmore, where did Daniel get his surname of Faraday? Did Eloise make it up?
• Eloise says, "For the first time in a long time, I don't know what's going to happen next." How did she know before and why doesn't she know anymore?
