- 1). Press the "Menu" key to open the phone's main menu.
- 2). Press 9 to open the "Settings" menu.
- 3). Press 9 again to open the "Reset Settings" option.
- 4). Highlight the menu settings you want to reset, and press the "OK" button to check the boxes. Display settings resets wallpapers, backlight intensity and other display related items. Sound settings resets ringtones, message tones and keypad tones. Phone settings resets everything else, such as the keypad lock, shortcuts and auto redial.
- 5). Press the "Reset" soft key, and select "Yes."
- 6). Enter the security password. The default password is 00000000.
- 7). Press "OK" to reset the settings.
