Ah those massive pecs...
every guy dreams about them and wants to know how to build chest muscle quickly.
The problem is that there are so many people telling you so many different things, that you can never really know the best way to get them! Most guys just give up and decide that they were just meant to have a small chest...
that its just "in their genes.
" This couldn't be further from the truth and ANY guy can have the chest they dream about as long as you follow the right training methods.
There are two extremely important things that you must do if you want to learn how to build chest muscle quickly.
First, you must have a solid, balanced workout program that targets every muscle in your body.
You can't just expect to workout your chest every day and see amazing results.
It just won't happen.
Your chest will only grow so big without growth from the rest of your body.
But since this is about building chest, we will focus on the chest building portion of your workout.
You should choose 2-3 compound exercises (incline bench press, decline bench press, flat bench press, chest dips).
These are the best for producing muscle growth.
Once you choose your exercises you should perform 2-3 sets of each.
Now you should determine how much weight you should be lifting.
Choose a weight that allows your muscles to fail somewhere in the 8-12 rep range.
So if you can squeeze out 13 reps, the weight is too light, if you can only get 7, the weight is too heavy.
Repeat this workout 2 times per week with at least 72 hours of rest in between each.
Next, you should make sure you are eating enough calories.
First, determine how many calories you are currently eating daily.
After you get this number, add 500 to it.
This is the number of calories you should be eating every day.
For example, if you determine that you eat about 2500 calories on a normal day, you should now be eating 3000 a day.
I know it seems like a lot but you have to supply your muscles with enough calories to grow.
Try to eat at least 1-1.
5 grams of protein per pound of body weight and at least 2-3 grams of carbs per pound of body weight.
So now you know the secret to growing incredible pecs.
Stick to your workout plan and make sure you are continuously moving up in weight and the results will come.
